Tidewater’s First Upscale Mediterranean Restaurant: Charlie’s Middle Eastern Cuisine

The community of Tidewater, Virginia announces its first “fancy kosher restaurant,” Charlie’s Middle Eastern Cuisine (1800 Granby St., Norfolk, Virginia, 23517, ph: 757-904-0532, under the Vaad HaKashrus of Tidewater, restaurant website not yet live).

The announcement was made via the Chabad Virginia Beach Facebook page, which thanks Chef Yogev, “who’s worked day and night to bring this masterpiece to life.”

The restaurant, opening tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th, 2024 will feature Mediterranean appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees, including arayes, fresh hummus, raw tuna and salmon plates, pargiyot, shawarma, and steaks.

The restaurant will be open Sunday to Thursday, 11:00am to 9:00pm, and Friday 11am to 2pm.
