Kosher Food and Drink

As reported on the Great Kosher Restaurant Foodies Facebook group today, 26 Sushi & Wok (9487 Harding Ave., Surfside, FL 33154) is “permanently” closing as of Thursday night this week. Their website does not cite any particular reasons beyond “circumstances beyond our control.”

Back when it was 26 Sushi & Tapas, it was one of the only authentic tapas/Nikkei dining experiences that could be found in the kosher world, and it featured truly stunning, next-level dishes.

“26 Sushi & Tapas” retooled into “26 Sushi & Wok” late in 2024, shifting from a dairy tapas establishment to a meat-focused Chinese/Japanese eatery.
