Following community support, Holy Chow owner Ami Schreiber has informed customers in a Facebook post that “today [Sunday, 9/20/26], we’ll be open from 11:30 AM until 2:30 PM, then closed for Yom Kippur. We’ll reopen Tuesday morning, business as usual.”
He further writes that the restaurant is “going to start gradually shifting away from Chinese as our main focus,” retaining some of “the most popular items, egg rolls, dumplings, [and] wings,” while “building out a new American grill concept, burgers, hot dogs, schnitzel, wings, [and] fries,” to improve consistency. The restaurant will move the Chinese menu “to is moving toward “toward a catering model, where orders are placed in advance.”
